The effects of a recycling program of this caliber are two-fold; One it saves precious landfill space for materials that have no known recyclable purpose. Second, it lessens the need to go and extract the materials from the environment.
When you bring your Construction and Demolition waste to the Lockport Transfer Station & Recycling Center, you can rest assured that as much of your material that can be rerouted from a landfill will be.

A $200 fine will be imposed on those dumping any of the prohibited items listed above.
